Ron Cristóbal Santa Maria is a premium rum series of limited editions. This Santa Maria edition received a second maturation in 225 ltr. Rivesaltes wine casks made of French Oak for a period of 12 months. Rivesaltes is a fortified wine from the southern France, protected by an AOC designation. This edition has been distilled in 2008 and was bottled in October 2021 with an outturn of 1.184 bottles.

The Ron Cristóbal series presents a range of premium rums for the adventurers of the world! Named after the famous world explorer Christopher Colombus and bearing his portrait, this rum is produced in the Dominican Republic and showcases the unique rum flavours this region has to offer.

Within the Ron Cristóbal series you’ll find rums suitable for cocktails and bars as well as two premium rums named after Colombus’ ships. The range pays homage to the historical aspects of drinking rum; and every sip is a new adventure!

Tasting Notes

Nose: Lush aromas of coconut flakes and orchard fruits such as apples, pears and quinces adding a sublte sourness.
Palate: Same fruity notes as on the nose reminding of caramelized apples, brown sugar and vanilla. The finish is long and mild with a slighty bitter touch.
