S.B.S Guyana 2012 is a complex rum distilled in a 4-column Savalle still. The “AN” marque of this rum is an homage to the Albion Distillery, which was closed in 1968.

S.B.S Guyana 2012 is a single cask rum with an outcome of 231 bottles only. The rum is based on molasses and was distilled in a 4-column Savalle still and was bottled in our warehouse in Denmark in May 2022. The marque of this rum is ”AN” an homage to the mothballed sugar plantation and distillery Albion, which was closed in 1968. The rum has matured in an ex-Bourbon barrel and was bottled at cask strength at 64,6% abv.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Spicy notes of pepper and oak with a sweet hint of manuka honey. More complex and fruity aromas of dried papaya develop when adding a bit of water.
Palate: The spicy notes continue on the palate with aromas of ginger and spicy oak. The rum has a dry finish with a nice touch of sweetness to it. Add a bit of water and chocolatey aromas will be revealed reminding of chocolate truffles.
