S.B.S Belize 2005
Single Barrel Selection Belize 2005 is a single cask rum which is based on molasses and was distilled in a column still in 2005. The rum has matured in an ex-Bourbon cask and is bottled at 58% abv. in January 2023. The rum is non-chill filtered and no additives have been used. S.B.S Belize 2005 is limited to 275 bottles only.

The first batch of our annual S.B.S release 2023 contains gems from Jamaica, Guyana, Belize, Mauritius and for the first time Thailand. Since our bottlings are getting more and more popular we decided to add bottlings which will only be available in specific countries. Otherwise the S.B.S range stays the same – pure single cask rum without additives or chill-filtration.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: At first a leather and tabacco scent, after a rest in the glass hints of molasses and caramel will come.
Palate: Dry first flavor and with lots of oak from the long tropical aging. Finishing with lots of vanilla and caramel.
